I haven't blogged about my work as a caricaturist before, in spite of having been entertaining people with my sketches for 20 years. I'm going to start with a recent commission, which is a digital drawing from photos, for wedding stationery. This was created in Sketchable on my Surface Pro4. The drawing is in several layers (sky, skyline, rough outline [hidden], colour and black superimposed outline). The client also asked for some revisions, which were done in further layers. This enables the strong separation of foreground and background.
One of the useful features of this app is that the files can be exported to Photoshop and adjusted / distorted there, which was helpful with the revisions.
