HOW IT WORKS: CARICATURES AT YOUR EVENT
Richard is based in Birmingham, and so can easily draw caricatures at events in the Midlands and London, and throughout England & Wales. He has also worked in Europe and the USA.
A typical booking lasts for three hours, and the fee is normally between £260 and £400, depending on travel costs. He can mingle with guests at dinner tables or drinks, or set up in one part of the venue and have people come to him to be drawn. He doesn't charge for individual sketches, and presents completed drawings in clear display sleeves, to keep them in good condition - after all, they could be souvenirs of the day for years to come!
Richard is easily accommodated at most events - he doesn't need much space, doesn't need an electrical supply and arrives ready to start work straight away!
The paper he works on can be pre-printed with your logo or message.

HINTS FOR MAKING A BOOKING
- Please leave your name and phone number. If you are contacting by phone, and leaving a message, make sure that names and numbers are clearly spoken.
- It is always helpful to leave a message!
- Try to give as much detail as possible - especially the location, date and time of the day when the performance is requested. This will ensure a quick response and a professional service on the day.
TERMS and CONDITIONS
If a booking is cancelled by the client or a third party 28 or more days before the day of the performance, half the fee shall be payable; should such a cancellation occur fewer than 28 days before the day of the performance, the full fee shall be payable. Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone. Payments for cancellations are due within 30 days of the cancellation, regardless of performance date. Agreements made by phone, post or email are binding unless cancelled in writing within 7 days, irrespective of whether the client(s) has countersigned them and are governed by English Law.
Commissions: whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to create a caricature which is lifelike and satisfactory, it is a subjective activity and where disputes occur, the artist's decision is final.
